Ancient Hunting Corridor

Ancient Hunting Corridor

“Divers examine boulders on the bottom of Lake Huron near Alpena, Mich., that were used as caribou drive lanes by prehistoric hunters in this June 13, 2011 file photo, provided by Thunder Bay National Marine Sanctuary via the University of Michigan News Service. If I close my eyes, I can see these majestic herds of Caribou…..thundering their way among grazing lands to the next ancient destination….. Moving through the seasons under the sun…..shaking off winter…searching for grasslands where they will teach the young to carry on.
